Student/Parent Contract 2016-2017
Hello Livingston Park Families,
Welcome to our Choral Music program! This is an exciting time for students as most of them will be singing and performing in a large ensemble for the first time while others will continue to hone their singing skills from last year. Please read the following expectations for the 2016-2017 School Year and sign below. Return the bottom part to Ms. Fackelman during your next music class.
I will be prepared for our rehearsals. That means having a pencil, chorus folder and a positive attitude!
I will be sure to arrive on time. That means after lunch.
If I have to miss a lesson or rehearsal I will be sure to let Ms. Fackelman know either in person, Google Doc, or email.
I will be focused and ready to learn. I may struggle at first, but with practice I know I will improve. I can always send a Google Doc or email with questions to Mr. Komar.
(This one is for the parents): If I have any questions regarding Chorus, I can always contact Ms. Fackelman right away at [email protected].
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By signing this agreement I pledge to rise up and maintain these expectations.

Welcome back to another great year at LP! I hope you are just as excited about Chorus as I am. I've included the "Intro to Chorus" letter below that all 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade students will be receiving throughout the first week of school. If you are interested in registering for Chorus, please hand in the bottom of the form by September 25th. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask!
***************************************************************************************************************************************************Dear Livingston Park Families,
Welcome back to school! I hope you have found ease in transitioning from summer to the start of a brand new school year. I am very excited to continue teaching Vocal Music at LP while sharing my passion for music with the school. In addition to studying music once a week, LP has a very special musical program offered exclusively to our 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade students.
THE LIVINGSTON PARK CHORUS is an extra-curricular musical ensemble that features the singing voices of our students. Once a week, students explore singing in a group through practicing vocal warm-ups, reading sheet music, and singing songs as an ensemble.
Our Winter Concert, which is on December 19th, features 4th and 5th Grade chorus students. 3rd Grade students join the 4th and 5th Graders in our Spring Concert performance on June 6th. Mark your calendars!
Rehearsals will begin at the start of the school year for 4th and 5th Graders. 3rd Grade Chorus will begin rehearsing during the winter months. ALL STUDENTS ARE WELCOME! No auditions necessary! All that is required is a curiosity for music, commitment to once-a-week rehearsals during recess time, and a positive mindset!
Stay up to date with what’s happening in Chorus by viewing the website listed below. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at anytime!
Musically Yours,
Ms. Elizabeth Fackelman
